We are just one hour from Geneva Airport by car.

Check the car comes with a Swiss motorway "vignette". If they don't, then be advised that the few miles you will do on the motorway leaving the airport will cost you around 25 Euros unless you use an alternative route out of Switzerland into France.

In winter, check the car comes equipped with snow tyres.

Driving from the UK

From Calais it's about 8 hours of motorway driving. Expect to pay about 65 euros in tolls each way.

Chalet La Chouette is just 15 minutes from the Sallanches exit of the A40 (Autoroute Blanche).

The RAC have an excellent route planner that will help you to calculate driving times, routes and tolls. (Tip: put 'Les Contamines' in as your destination town.)

Train

Use the Eurostar to get to Paris, then take the TGV to St Gervais Le Fayet, where we will arrange for you to be collected upon arrival.
